About Susan Moore
I've always been drawn to stories about what we want from life — and the unexpected ways we find it. My novels tend to begin with a woman at a crossroads: something has ended, or broken, or revealed itself to be not quite what it seemed. What happens next is what interests me.
Before I was a novelist, I spent over three decades working in film, technology and media — including time at Lucasfilm's Skywalker Ranch in California, which remains one of the most extraordinary, creative places I've ever worked.
I hold an MA with Distinction in Creative Writing from Kingston University, London. My books include The Widow's Web (Bloodhound Books), the Nat Walker Trilogy (Nosy Crow), and the Power Families series (Jack Hook Books). The Darcy List is my seventh book.
I live in the UK and write about love, ambition, and the moments that quietly change the course of a life. I believe that a Darcy obsession and a happy life are entirely compatible.
